Refund & Dispute Policy

- Introduction
Welcome to Plum & Pine Events (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Refund and Dispute Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds and dispute resolution for events and services booked at our reception center. By booking with us, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
- Refund Policy
2.1. Cancellation by Client
- Notice Period: To be eligible for a refund, you must notify us in writing at least 60 days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 60 days of the event are non-refundable.
- Refund Amount:
- More than 60 Days Notice: You will receive a 70% refund of payments made, less a nonrefundable administration fee of $800.
- Less than 60 Days Notice: No refund will be issued.
- Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where we are unable to provide the agreed services due to unforeseen circumstances.
2.2. Cancellation by Us
- Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we must cancel your event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure), we will provide a full refund of all payments made, including deposits.
- Rescheduling: We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your event to a mutually convenient date.
2.3. Refund Process
Refunds will be processed within 5 days of receiving a cancellation notice or in the event of a cancellation by us. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking.
- Dispute Resolution
3.1. Informal Resolution
If you have any issues or disputes regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly at info@plumandpine.com. We will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
3.2. Formal Dispute
If a resolution cannot be reached informally, you may submit a formal dispute in writing to us at Plum & Pine Events 6388 S Redwood Rd Taylorsville UT 84123. Please include all relevant details and documentation supporting your dispute.
3.3. Mediation
If a formal dispute is not resolved to your satisfaction, we may agree to participate in mediation to resolve the issue. Mediation will be conducted in Salt Lake County, Utah and will be binding only if mutually agreed upon by both parties.
3.4. Legal Action
If mediation fails, you may seek legal remedies in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah. Any legal proceedings must be initiated within 30 days from the date of the dispute notice.
- No Show Policy
If you do not show up for your event without prior notice, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for the full amount of the booking.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Dispute Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
